Q3D Scan Prime vs Edit — License Comparison

What is the difference between Q3D Scan Prime and Edit licenses?

Q3D Scan Prime provides access to all features in Q3D Scan. This is the required software to drive the AuraGO scanner. Prime software can be installed on iOS, Windows and Android.

Q3D Scan Edit is a low-cost, Windows-based software used primarily for editing and optimizing scan projects. We recommend a copy of Edit as the PC typically carries far more processing power for edits, exports , scan optimizations and large scan navigation. The software is ideal for office-based point cloud work.

Yes, it is possible to migrate a Prime license from your mobile device to your PC, however, the low cost of Edit makes it an attractive option for avoiding the constant need to move licenses between devices.
